I could fill music libraries with what I’ve found by means of the world wide internet.  In fact, I have filled two: my physical space and my virtual.  Scouring the web between the hours of 1am and 5am picking up little musical diamonds amongst the musical ruff; I’ve acquired more then I need.

Recently I did a youtube search of Dylan covers and found one that I liked.  For the record, I hate 999 out of every 1000 Dylan covers.  I won’t go into why, I’ll just say that I don’t care how many people can recreate The Old Guitarist; I’m interested in brain to canvas, not hand to canvas.

So when I came across Anthony da Costa’s version of Boots of Spanish Leather while searching for the genuine article, I didn’t have high expectations.  In fact, clicking on the link was an accident.  I let it play (at least I’ll get a cheap laugh.)

I let it play and have continued to play it over and over.  Listen to it.
